Glad to be back on track.

I know I’ve posted before about being re-focused and ready to start back on Cincinnati Catholic Media, and thus far, not much has been seen. I apologize.

After some soul searching and praying, I know know that I am on the right track and re-committed to putting CCM together in order to show the Catholic faith in action within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

I ask that you pray for the success of this ministry. It is my hope to use this platform, especially digital media, to allow others to see the great things that are happening within the Archdiocese and to want to be a part of it.

Yours in Christ.

It’s been a while…..

I know that it has been a while since I have posted. It is my hope that this project gets back on track. Please pray for the assistance and dedication that will be needed to make something like this a success.

Peace Be With You!

Sorry for the absence.

It seems like forever since I have been able to update the status of Cincinnati Catholic Media, because it has. Last Saturday I was able to shoot a bit of footage for the story of The River Group and their service work at Tender Mercies. I have to say it was a pleasure meeting them and spending a little bit of time talking to them about their group and their commitment to the  Catholic faith.

I am looking forward to talking with them again as I complete this story. The video will be able to be seen in September as Cincinnati Catholic Media is launched.

I also wanted to talk about the Festival of Faith, that was held the first week of August at the Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford.

I always enjoy visiting the JSC, whether on a retreat, or just walking the grounds, the beauty and serenity of the property always centers me and brings me closer to God. The FOF however took it one step further. The festival was an opportunity for me to share hearing the stories of the Gospel with my children, as told and acted out by the Sparough Family Mission Team. I would have to say, my favorite part was watching my children sit and listen to the story of the Three Trees, and smile with excitement as the end brings the story of the Nativity. If you haven’t heard the story, I won’t give it away, but I would suggest you go get the book and read it. Such a beautiful story and awesome message.Even if you don’t have children, read it anyway.

Cincinnati Catholic Media is hard at work to bring you stories of faith in action. Stories about and for your fellow parishioners, church groups, organizations, and parish ministries that show God’s love everyday, and demonstrate their faith by serving others.

Yours in Christ.

Still plugging away.

Cincinnati Catholic Media is underway. Currently in procress of writing the stories for the first episode. The stories that will be featured;

  • St. Ann’s Convent and their efforts to “Go Green” in the construction of their new convent.
  • The River Group, which is a group of Catholic singles, who are activiely engaged in putting their faith in action.

The school that will be featured for the month of September will be Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. We will catch up with them as they have completed their first school year. OLG was created from combining four smaller parochial schools, St. Margaret Mary, Little Flower, Assumption and St. Ann’s.  In addition, we will also highlight St. Ann’s Parish. We will see how the members of this parish are not only active in their school (OLG) but also in the community and in their faith.

I am very excited about this new venture into Catholic media. My hope is that these stories will not only highlight the many great things that are happening in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and surrounding parishes but also inspire all Catholics to get involved not only in their parishes but in their Catholic faith.

Look for the launch of the web site and programs in September.

Yours in Christ.
